PRAWO
Contracts in copyright law are my speciality..
I love it, I adore it, I will never get bored of it.
I studied law alongside Polish studies and from the beginning of my studies, from 1994, I knew that if I went into law in the future, it would be copyright law.
It started with one rainy Tuesday on Bracka. Really, it was raining on Bracka that day. I had just finished a literature exercise, the day was gloomy and cold, the afternoon looked like late evening. I had just enough money to eat warm soup in the dormitory, but the devil tempted me and I went into an antique shop.
Inside it was warm and dry. I had no intention of buying anything, I was dreaming of hot borscht, but a pre-war edition of Frederick Zoll's Copyright Law fell into my hands. A tiny booklet without a title page, with a bookbinder's cover, no rarity. I stood leaning against the shelves, opened it and was lost. I was transported to the early 1920s, to the world of the formation of Polish legislation. This book was as cheap as borscht, which, as a result, I did not eat. But I don't regret it. Less than a year later, I was already a law student.
Once, in a lecture, Professor Elisabeth Traple asked me about the German concept of copyright, on which Professor Zoll the elder was based. A few years later she asked me the same question at my master's exam. Well, and that's how my adventure with copyright law began.
Then I did a specialization at the Institute of Intellectual Property Law, finished the School of Negotiation and several other postgraduate studies. For more than 25 years, I have been steadily working on contracts in copyright law. And if I can say anything specific about myself, I guess it's that I'm a legal practitioner. If you want to consult your contract, if you are wondering how to negotiate it to make it more suitable for you, if you have any doubts about respecting your copyrights - here I am, and I will be most happy to talk to you about it. I have been trusted by many women writers, theater and film people, producers and publishers. I can't count how many people I have helped in these 25 years, but I have created, consulted and negotiated thousands of contracts.
So write to me at my legal address: haubensadurska@pm.me, briefly describe what's going on, I'll get in touch with you and we'll schedule a phone call or meeting.
I look forward to it.
